I truly had fun working on this project for a recent client. The client wanted to surprise her mother with a piece of art of her classic car that she could display as proudly as she does the vehicle itself. After talking more with the client about her mother I knew exactly what direction to take the project in.

To achieve the final product I photographed her beloved vehicle at two locations near Alki Beach in West Seattle. At the first location I was focused on getting some good detailed shots of the car since we were starting to lose light, I then focused my attention on the background images at the second location.

During post production I seperated the car from its original background, stitched four different photos to create the new panorama background and placed the cutout car infront of it. After all the major work was done it only needed a little detail work to turn it into a realistic composition.

We are sure our clients mother will be pleased to receive this thoughtful gift.
